NADIA: "Oliver, you've been in there a fucking hour. I'm already late. Hurry up."
JAKE: "Did you hire a stripper?"
OPHELIA: "You made a promise... You lied to us."
It’s not my fault. It’s my duty to go.
AMARA: "I can prove you wrong."
Then why don’t you?
They can’t? You won’t get hurt then? I mean, I get if you want to do it but I don’t want anything happening to you, you know? It probably sounds really weird that I’m worried but I don’t care. Okay, good that makes me feel better.
It’s not if I want to, it’s that I have to. And no, I won’t get hurt. Unless I get hit by a car or something. Okay, good.
You don’t really know that they won’t ask you to go back into it though, do you? I just, I like the people I care about being safe and not risking their lives, even for a good thing.
They won’t be able to do that. I’m an ex-army officer. I’ve technically left, but they can take me on for jobs to help out and stuff. I might have to go overseas and help out in camps, but nothing like it used to be. It’s okay, Nora, I promise. It’s just like a training thing.
